The T.I.M.S. illumination colour can either be Red or Blue/Green both are highly visible at night and provide the safety and comfort factors, inherent in a clear constant reference point.

The system comprises of two power packs, each pack is driven by 8 x AA batteries. The power packs have two modes of operation, the first being full illumination simply by depressing the pushbutton on the top of the module. The second is a control that allows the illumination levels to be reduced to a point where there is no visible light to the naked eye, but if looked at through night vision goggles it can be clearly seen. This offers the ability to adjust the light output to suit the tactical situation.

Each module has 10m of illumination material, this can be either Red or Green, the system also includes 10 pegs to hold the illumination in the ground. Where this equipment is being used to illuminate the edges of the bridges we will supply a clip which enables it the be fitted to the bridge.
